River Flash Flood - FLIP simulation created in Houdini, rendered with Blender's Cycles, composited in Nuke.

Behind the scenes from an upcoming feature film, breakdown approved to be posted. This was my first time working with larger scale FLIP simulations and was a good opportunity to learn a lot about water dynamics, whitewater shading, and integrating FX into film footage. Finished this bit of freelance work around the beginning of December but now I feel like there's a lot more that I want to explore when it comes to FLIP like with oceans, and also next time I want to try rendering in Karma.
